Free RHEL subscription for up to 16 machines for developers

Red Hat Inc., which was acquired by IBM in 2019, just announced that the existing developer program will be adjusted.

Until recently, the Red Hat Developer program allowed one free RHEL subscription. Due to the end of CentOS, Red Hat decided to increase the free RHEL subscription to 16 machines. This means: Each developer subscription can now run up to 16 machines of Red Hat Enterprise Linux – including updates!

The updated Individual Developer subscription for RHEL will be available no later than February 1, 2021.

According to the announcement, the changed developer subscription will be made available this January 2021.
